These are glycoside in which a sugar group is bonded through one carbon to another group via a O-glycosidic bond. (2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-({[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-2-yl (2e,4e)-2-methyl-6-oxohepta-2,4-dienoate is found in Crocus sativus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-Methyl-6-oxo-2,4-heptadienoic acid 6-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester. |
