Description(2R,3R)-3-Methoxy-3-(3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2-propanediol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as methoxyphenols. Methoxyphenols are compounds containing a methoxy group attached to the benzene ring of a phenol moiety. (2r,3r)-3-(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-methoxypropane-1,2-diol is found in Laguncularia racemosa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3R)-3-Methoxy-3-(3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2-propanediol.
