These are glycoside in which a sugar group is bonded through one carbon to another group via a O-glycosidic bond. 3,4-dihydroxy-5-(2-hydroxy-1-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}ethyl)-3-[(1-methoxyindol-3-yl)methyl]oxolan-2-one is found in Eutrema salsugineum. 3,4-Dihydroxy-5-(2-hydroxy-1-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}ethyl)-3-[(1-methoxy-1H-indol-3-yl)methyl]oxolan-2-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
