| Description | Vismione F belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthracenes. These are organic compounds containing a system of three linearly fused benzene rings. 7-[(2e)-3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dien-1-yl]-3,6,8,9-tetrahydroxy-3-methyl-2,4-dihydroanthracen-1-one is found in Psorospermum corymbiferum, Psorospermum febrifugum and Psorospermum tenuifolium. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Vismione F. |
