| Description | Amoenolide A belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene lactones. These are diterpenoids containing a lactone moiety. 4-{2-[(4s,4ar,5s,7r,8as)-4,7-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)-2,5,8a-trimethyl-3,4,4a,6,7,8-hexahydronaphthalen-1-yl]ethyl}-5h-furan-2-one was first documented in 1994 (PMID: 7807123). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Amoenolide A (PMID: 7494148) (PMID: 7760081) (PMID: 7931365). |
