| Description | 3-Hydroxy-1-methoxy-2-(methoxymethyl)-4a,9,9a,10-tetrahydroanthracene-9,10-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as hydroxyanthraquinones. Hydroxyanthraquinones are compounds containing a hydroxyanthraquinone moiety, which consists of an anthracene bearing a quinone, and hydroxyl group. 3-hydroxy-1-methoxy-2-(methoxymethyl)-4a,9a-dihydroanthracene-9,10-dione is found in Pentas lanceolata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-hydroxy-1-methoxy-2-(methoxymethyl)-4a,9,9a,10-tetrahydroanthracene-9,10-dione. |
