Common Name[(2r,3s,4s,5r,6s)-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r,6r)-2-{[5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxochromen-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methyl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate
DescriptionKaempferol 3-(6''-(e)-feruloylglucosyl)-(1->2)-galactoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonoid-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Thus, kaempferol 3-(6''-(e)-feruloylglucosyl)-(1->2)-galactoside is considered to be a flavonoid. [(2r,3s,4s,5r,6s)-6-{[(2s,3r,4s,5r,6r)-2-{[5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4-oxochromen-3-yl]oxy}-4,5-dihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-3-yl]oxy}-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]methyl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Oldenlandia herbacea and Thevetia peruviana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Kaempferol 3-(6''-(e)-feruloylglucosyl)-(1->2)-galactoside.
