Description(3R,6E)-8-{4-[(1E)-3-hydroxyprop-1-en-1-yl]-2,6-dimethoxyphenoxy}-2,6-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as dimethoxybenzenes. These are organic aromatic compounds containing a monocyclic benzene moiety carrying exactly two methoxy groups. (3r,6e)-8-{4-[(1e)-3-hydroxyprop-1-en-1-yl]-2,6-dimethoxyphenoxy}-2,6-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-ol is found in Ligularia duciformis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3R,6E)-8-{4-[(1E)-3-hydroxyprop-1-en-1-yl]-2,6-dimethoxyphenoxy}-2,6-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-ol.
