Description(1R,2R,5R,8R,9S,10R,13R,14S,17S,19R)-1,2,5,14,18,18-hexamethyl-8-(prop-1-en-2-yl)pentacyclo[11.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹.0¹⁴,¹⁹]Henicosan-17-yl (2E)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. (1r,3ar,5ar,5br,7ar,9s,11as,11br,13ar,13bs)-3a,5a,5b,8,8,11a-hexamethyl-1-(prop-1-en-2-yl)-hexadecahydrocyclopenta[a]chrysen-9-yl (2e)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Bruguiera parviflora. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2R,5R,8R,9S,10R,13R,14S,17S,19R)-1,2,5,14,18,18-hexamethyl-8-(prop-1-en-2-yl)pentacyclo[11.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹.0¹⁴,¹⁹]Henicosan-17-yl (2E)-3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate.
