| Description | Sorgoleone-360 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as p-benzoquinones. These are benzoquinones where the two C=O groups are attached at the 1- and 4-positions, respectively. 2-hydroxy-5-methoxy-3-[(8z,11z)-pentadeca-8,11-dien-1-yl]cyclohexa-2,5-diene-1,4-dione is found in Sorghum bicolor. 2-hydroxy-5-methoxy-3-[(8z,11z)-pentadeca-8,11-dien-1-yl]cyclohexa-2,5-diene-1,4-dione was first documented in 2012 (PMID: 21854169). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Sorgoleone-360. |
