Naphthtopyran is made up of the pyran ring fused to a naphthalene ring system. 1-methoxy-13h-6-oxapentacene-5,7,12,14-tetrone is found in Lawsonia inermis. 1-Methoxy-7,12,13,14-tetrahydro-5H-6-oxapentacene-5,7,12,14-tetrone is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
