Description6-Ethyl-2,7-dihydroxy-3-methoxynaphthazarin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthoquinones. Naphthoquinones are compounds containing a naphthohydroquinone moiety, which consists of a benzene ring linearly fused to a bezene-1,4-dione (quinone). 6-ethyl-2,5,7,8-tetrahydroxy-3-methoxynaphthalene-1,4-dione is found in Diadema antillarum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6-Ethyl-2,7-dihydroxy-3-methoxynaphthazarin.
