Description6'-Methoxy-2',4',4-trihydroxy-3'-(4-hydroxy-3-methyl-2-butenyl)-trans-chalcone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 3-prenylated chalcones. These are chalcones featuring a C5-isoprenoid unit at the 3-position. (2e)-1-{2,4-dihydroxy-3-[(2e)-4-hydroxy-3-methylbut-2-en-1-yl]-6-methoxyphenyl}-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-en-1-one is found in Humulus lupulus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 6'-Methoxy-2',4',4-trihydroxy-3'-(4-hydroxy-3-methyl-2-butenyl)-trans-chalcone.
