Description | (2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-2-{[(10R)-10-hydroxy-2-oxatricyclo[13.2.2.1³,⁷]Icosa-1(17),3,5,7(20),15,18-hexaen-4-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lignan glycosides. These are aromatic polycyclic compounds containing a carbohydrate component glycosidically linked to a lignan moiety. They include 1-aryltetralin lactones. (2r,3r,4s,5r,6r)-2-{[(10r)-10-hydroxy-2-oxatricyclo[13.2.2.1³,⁷]icosa-1(17),3(20),4,6,15,18-hexaen-4-yl]oxy}-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxane-3,4,5-triol is found in Acer nikoense.
