Description2,3-Dihydroxy-4-methyl-3H,4H,5H,10H-benzo[g]quinoline-5,10-dione belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzoquinolines. These are organic compounds containing a benzene fused to a quinoline ring system. 2,3-dihydroxy-4-methyl-3h,4h-benzo[g]quinoline-5,10-dione is found in Goniothalamus griffithii and Goniothalamus laoticus. 2,3-Dihydroxy-4-methyl-3H,4H,5H,10H-benzo[g]quinoline-5,10-dione is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
