| Description | 4-Hydroxycinnamic acid D-friedoolean-14-en-3beta-yl ester belongs to the class of organic compounds known as scalarane sesterterpenoids. These are sesterterpenoids with a structure based on the scalarane backbone. Scalarane is a tetracyclic compound, which is similar the homoandrostane with five methyl groups at the 4-, 4-, 8-, 17-, 17a-positions. (3s,4ar,6ar,8ar,12ar,12bs,14ar,14br)-4,4,6a,8a,11,11,12b,14b-octamethyl-1,2,3,4a,5,6,8,9,10,12,12a,13,14,14a-tetradecahydropicen-3-yl (2e)-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate is found in Rhizophora mucronata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-Hydroxycinnamic acid D-friedoolean-14-en-3beta-yl ester. |
