These are organic compounds containing a carboxylic acid group attached to an anthracene ring system. methyl 1,2,3,4,6,7,8-heptahydroxy-10-oxo-9h-anthracene-9-carboxylate is found in Rubus ulmifolius. methyl 1,2,3,4,6,7,8-heptahydroxy-10-oxo-9h-anthracene-9-carboxylate was first documented in 2013 (PMID: 23266738). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Rubanthrone A.
