Description | (2R)-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-methyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 3'-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C3' atom of the flavonoid backbone. (2r)-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Bauhinia glauca. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R)-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-methyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-4-one. |
