These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. 1-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)-3a,5a,5b,8,8,11a-hexamethyl-hexadecahydrocyclopenta[a]chrysen-9-ol is found in Almeidea coerulea, Betula ermanii, Betula maximowicziana, Betula pendula, Camellia japonica, Ceriops decandra, Englerophytum magalismontanum, Maclura pomifera, Relhania calycina, Pleurostylia opposita, Salacia chinensis and Salvia montbretii. 8-(2-Hydroxypropan-2-yl)-1,2,5,14,18,18-hexamethylpentacyclo[11.8.0.0²,¹⁰.0⁵,⁹.0¹⁴,¹⁹]Henicosan-17-ol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
