Description | (7R,8R,9R)-4-(2-methoxy-2-oxoacetyl)-5-(2-methoxy-2-oxoethylidene)-7,8-dimethyl-2,13,15-trioxatetracyclo[8.6.1.0⁴,¹⁷.0¹²,¹⁶]Heptadeca-1(17),10,12(16)-trien-9-yl 2-methylbut-2-enoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzodioxoles. These are organic compounds containing a benzene ring fused to either isomers of dioxole. Dioxole is a five-membered unsaturated ring of two oxygen atoms and three carbon atoms. (5e,7r,8r,9r)-4-(2-methoxy-2-oxoacetyl)-5-(2-methoxy-2-oxoethylidene)-7,8-dimethyl-2,13,15-trioxatetracyclo[8.6.1.0⁴,¹⁷.0¹²,¹⁶]heptadeca-1(17),10,12(16)-trien-9-yl 2-methylbut-2-enoate is found in Kadsura interior.
