Common Name(1s)-1-(5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-dioxonaphthalen-2-yl)-4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl 2-methylpropanoate
DescriptionIsobutyrylalkannin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthoquinones. Naphthoquinones are compounds containing a naphthohydroquinone moiety, which consists of a benzene ring linearly fused to a bezene-1,4-dione (quinone). (1s)-1-(5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-dioxonaphthalen-2-yl)-4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl 2-methylpropanoate is found in Arnebia euchroma and Lithospermum erythrorhizon. (1s)-1-(5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-dioxonaphthalen-2-yl)-4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl 2-methylpropanoate was first documented in 2012 (PMID: 23208466). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Isobutyrylalkannin (PMID: 35709606) (PMID: 27061885) (PMID: 30428205).
