DescriptionSargahydroquinoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (2z,6e,10e)-12-(2,5-dihydroxy-3-methylphenyl)-6,10-dimethyl-2-(4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl)dodeca-2,6,10-trienoic acid is found in Roldana barba-johannis, Sargassum fallax, Sargassum micracanthum, Sargassum sagamianum and Sargassum siliquastrum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Sargahydroquinoic acid.
