| Description | (+/-)-Trans-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-4-[(e)-3,4-dimethoxystyryl]cyclohex-1-ene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as methoxyphenols. Methoxyphenols are compounds containing a methoxy group attached to the benzene ring of a phenol moiety. 4-[(1r,6s)-6-[(1e)-2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethenyl]cyclohex-2-en-1-yl]-2-methoxyphenol is found in Zingiber montanum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (+/-)-trans-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-4-[(e)-3,4-dimethoxystyryl]cyclohex-1-ene. |
