These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 6-(7-hydroxy-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl)-3-methylcyclohex-2-en-1-ol is found in Cousinia canescens and Pulicaria glutinosa. 6-(7-Hydroxy-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl)-3-methylcyclohex-2-en-1-ol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
