| Description | 16Beta-Hydroxyscillarenin 3-rhamnoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as bufanolides and derivatives. These are steroid lactones containing a pyran-2-one moiety linked to the C17 atom of a cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene derivative. 5-[(1r,2s,3as,3br,7s,9ar,9bs,11ar)-2,3a-dihydroxy-9a,11a-dimethyl-7-{[(2r,3r,4r,5r,6s)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-1h,2h,3h,3bh,4h,5h,7h,8h,9h,9bh,10h,11h-cyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]pyran-2-one is found in Drimia maritima. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 16beta-Hydroxyscillarenin 3-rhamnoside. |
