DescriptionN-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-methylicosa-2,6-dienimidic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as carboximidic acids. These are organic acids with the general formula RC(=N)-OH (R=H, organic group). n-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-methylicosa-2,6-dienimidic acid is found in Lyngbya semiplena. N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-methylicosa-2,6-dienimidic acid is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
