Some examples include C2-O-C3, C2-O-C4, C3'-C3''', and C6-C8''. 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-4-[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,7-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2h-1-benzopyran-6-yl]-3,4-dihydro-2h-1-benzopyran-3,7-diol is found in Colophospermum mopane and Peltophorum africanum. 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-4-[2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-3,7-dihydroxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-6-yl]-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-3,7-diol is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
