| Description | Nakafuran 9 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cycloheptafurans. These are organic heterocyclic compounds containing a cycloheptane derivative fused to a furan. Furan is a five-membered aromatic ring with four carbon atoms and one oxygen atom. (1s,9s)-9,10,11-trimethyl-3-oxatricyclo[7.3.1.0²,⁶]trideca-2(6),4,10-triene is found in Dysidea fragilis, Hypselodoris capensis and Hypselodoris infucata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Nakafuran 9. |
