Description2-{3-Acetyl-5,5,5',8a-tetramethyl-octahydrospiro[2-benzopyran-1,2'-oxolane]-5'-yl}acetic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzopyrans. These are organic compounds containing a benzene ring fused to a pyran ring. Pyran a six-membered heterocyclic, non-aromatic ring, made up of five carbon atoms and one oxygen atom and containing two double bonds. 3-acetyl-5,5,5',8a-tetramethyl-hexahydrospiro[2-benzopyran-1,2'-oxolan]-5'-ylacetic acid is found in Grindelia camporum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-{3-acetyl-5,5,5',8a-tetramethyl-octahydrospiro[2-benzopyran-1,2'-oxolane]-5'-yl}acetic acid.
