These are phenolic compounds containing a flavonoid moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to carbohydrate moiety at the C7-position. 7-[(4,5-dihydroxy-3-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-6-{[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]methyl}oxan-2-yl)oxy]-5-hydroxy-2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1-benzopyran-4-one is found in Alhagi maurorum. 7-[(4,5-Dihydroxy-3-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-6-{[(3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl)oxy]methyl}oxan-2-yl)oxy]-5-hydroxy-2-(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3,4-dihydro-2H-1-benzopyran-4-one is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
