| Description | (4R)-4a,5,6,7,8,8abeta,9,9a-Octahydro-3,4abeta,5beta-trimethyl-4alpha,9aalpha-epoxynaphtho[2,3-b]furan-2(4H)-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthofurans. Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (1r,3r,7s,8r,9r)-7,8,11-trimethyl-13,14-dioxatetracyclo[7.4.1.0¹,¹⁰.0³,⁸]tetradec-10-en-12-one is found in Ligularia fischeri. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4R)-4a,5,6,7,8,8abeta,9,9a-Octahydro-3,4abeta,5beta-trimethyl-4alpha,9aalpha-epoxynaphtho[2,3-b]furan-2(4H)-one. |
