| Description | (1R,2S,4S,7E,9R,10R,11R)-10-hydroxy-4,8-dimethyl-12-methylidene-13-oxo-3,14-dioxatricyclo[9.3.0.0²,⁴]Tetradec-7-en-9-yl 3-methylbutanoate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as germacranolides and derivatives. These are sesquiterpene lactones with a structure based on the germacranolide skeleton, characterized by a gamma lactone fused to a 1,7-dimethylcyclodec-1-ene moiety. (1r,2s,4s,7e,9r,10r,11r)-10-hydroxy-4,8-dimethyl-12-methylidene-13-oxo-3,14-dioxatricyclo[9.3.0.0²,⁴]tetradec-7-en-9-yl 3-methylbutanoate is found in Montanoa mollissima. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2S,4S,7E,9R,10R,11R)-10-hydroxy-4,8-dimethyl-12-methylidene-13-oxo-3,14-dioxatricyclo[9.3.0.0²,⁴]Tetradec-7-en-9-yl 3-methylbutanoate. |
