Natural Product Identification
Common Name5-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-3-(4-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-({[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)chromen-4-one
Description7-O-methyltectorigenin 4'-o-gentiobioside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoflavonoid o-glycosides. These are o-glycosylated derivatives of isoflavonoids, which are natural products derived from 3-phenylchromen-4-one. Thus, 7-O-methyltectorigenin 4'-O-gentiobioside is considered to be a flavonoid. 5-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-3-(4-{[(2s,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-({[(2r,3r,4s,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}phenyl)chromen-4-one is found in Iris pseudopumila. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7-o-methyltectorigenin 4'-o-gentiobioside.
