Description | 4-Hydroxy-17-methoxy-9-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-oxatricyclo[13.2.2.1³,⁷]Icosa-1(17),3,5,7(20),15,18-hexaen-10-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lignan glycosides. These are aromatic polycyclic compounds containing a carbohydrate component glycosidically linked to a lignan moiety. They include 1-aryltetralin lactones. 4-hydroxy-18-methoxy-9-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-oxatricyclo[13.2.2.1³,⁷]icosa-1(17),3(20),4,6,15,18-hexaen-10-one is found in Juglans mandshurica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-hydroxy-17-methoxy-9-{[3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2-oxatricyclo[13.2.2.1³,⁷]Icosa-1(17),3,5,7(20),15,18-hexaen-10-one. |
