Naphthopyrans are compounds containing a pyran ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 6 membered-ring non-aromatic ring with five carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (4r,4ar,6ar,7r,10ar)-4-(furan-3-yl)-4a,7-dimethyl-4h,5h,6h,6ah,7h,9h,10h,10ah-cyclohexa[f]isochromene-2,8-dione is found in Cedrela odorata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4R,4aR,6aR,7R,10aR)-4-(furan-3-yl)-4a,7-dimethyl-2H,4H,4aH,5H,6H,6aH,7H,8H,9H,10H,10aH-cyclohexa[f]isochromene-2,8-dione. |
