These are aromatic heteropolycyclic compounds containing a pyridine ring fused to a pyrazine ring. 2,3-dimethoxypyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine is found in Tetrodontophora bielanensis. 2,3-Dimethoxypyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
