Common Name[hydroxy([hydroxy([(2r,3s,4r,5r)-4-hydroxy-3-{[hydroxy(phosphonooxy)phosphoryl]oxy}-5-(6-hydroxy-2-imino-3h-purin-9-yl)oxolan-2-yl]methoxy)phosphoryl]oxy)phosphoryl]oxyphosphonic acid
DescriptionGuanosine 3'-diphosphate 5'-triphosphate, also known as guanosine 5'-triphosphate,3'-diphosphate or guanosine pentaphosphate, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as purine ribonucleoside triphosphates. These are purine ribobucleotides with a triphosphate group linked to the ribose moiety. Guanosine 3'-diphosphate 5'-triphosphate is an extremely strong acidic compound (based on its pKa). Guanosine 3'-diphosphate 5'-triphosphate exists in all living organisms, ranging from bacteria to humans. [hydroxy([hydroxy([(2r,3s,4r,5r)-4-hydroxy-3-{[hydroxy(phosphonooxy)phosphoryl]oxy}-5-(6-hydroxy-2-imino-3h-purin-9-yl)oxolan-2-yl]methoxy)phosphoryl]oxy)phosphoryl]oxyphosphonic acid is found in Streptomyces griseus. These are purine ribobucleotides with triphosphate group linked to the ribose moiety.
