Description | (8R,12S)-Isoandrographolide belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene lactones. These are diterpenoids containing a lactone moiety. 3-[(2s,3ar,5as,6r,7r,9ar,9bs)-7-hydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-3a,6,9a-trimethyl-octahydro-1h-naphtho[2,1-b]furan-2-yl]-5h-furan-2-one is found in Andrographis paniculata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (8R,12S)-Isoandrographolide. |
