DescriptionArctignan H belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 2-arylbenzofuran flavonoids. These are phenylpropanoids containing the 2-phenylbenzofuran moiety. (3r,4r)-4-[(4-{[1,3-dihydroxy-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)propan-2-yl]oxy}-3-methoxyphenyl)methyl]-3-{[(2s,3r)-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-7-methoxy-2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-5-yl]methyl}oxolan-2-one is found in Arctium lappa. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Arctignan H.
