DescriptionCHEMBL432597 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as taxanes and derivatives. These are diterpenoids with a structure based either on the taxane skeleton, or a derivative thereof. In term of phytochemistry, several derivatives of the taxane skeleton exist: 2(3->20)-Abeotaxane, 3,11-cyclotaxane, 11(15->1),11(10->9)-abeotaxane, 3,8-seco-taxane, and 11(15->1)-abeotaxane, among others. More complex skeletons have been found recently, which include the taxane-derived [3.3.3] Propellane ring system. (1r,2r,3r,5s,7s,8s,9r,10r,13s)-2,7,9,10,13-pentakis(acetyloxy)-8,12,15,15-tetramethyl-4-methylidenetricyclo[9.3.1.0³,⁸]pentadec-11-en-5-yl (2e)-3-phenylprop-2-enoate is found in Taxus wallichiana. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on CHEMBL432597.
