Description | (2R,10R,14R,15R,16R)-14-(2-hydroxy-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl)-2,6,6,10,11-pentamethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecane-5,14,16-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. (1r,3br,9ar,11r,11ar)-1-(2-hydroxy-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl)-3a,3b,6,6,9a-pentamethyl-dodecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthrene-1,7,11-triol is found in Betula costata, Betula pendula and Betula pubescens. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,10R,14R,15R,16R)-14-(2-hydroxy-6-methylhept-5-en-2-yl)-2,6,6,10,11-pentamethyltetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecane-5,14,16-triol. |
