| Description | 1-Methoxy-4-cadinene belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. (1s,4r,4ar,8ar)-1-isopropyl-4a-methoxy-4,7-dimethyl-2,3,4,5,6,8a-hexahydro-1h-naphthalene is found in Cryptomeria japonica. (1s,4r,4ar,8ar)-1-isopropyl-4a-methoxy-4,7-dimethyl-2,3,4,5,6,8a-hexahydro-1h-naphthalene was first documented in 2004 (PMID: 15056967). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1-Methoxy-4-cadinene. |
