These are polycyclic aromatic compounds containing the azulene skeleton, which consists of the cyclopentadiene ring fused to a cycloheptadiene ring. (4s,5r,8r,9s,10s)-3-hydroxy-5,9-dimethyl-14-oxa-7-azahexacyclo[15.2.1.1⁷,¹⁰.0⁴,⁸.0⁹,¹⁹.0¹³,¹⁸]henicosa-1(19),13(18),17(20)-trien-2-one is found in Daphniphyllum macropodum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Daphnicyclidin G. |
