Description4-Epi-scopadulcic acid B belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (1s,2s,6s,7r,8r,10s,13r)-8-(benzoyloxy)-2,6,13-trimethyl-12-oxotetracyclo[11.2.1.0¹,¹⁰.0²,⁷]hexadecane-6-carboxylic acid is found in Scoparia dulcis. (1s,2s,6s,7r,8r,10s,13r)-8-(benzoyloxy)-2,6,13-trimethyl-12-oxotetracyclo[11.2.1.0¹,¹⁰.0²,⁷]hexadecane-6-carboxylic acid was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 12880314). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4-epi-scopadulcic acid B (PMID: 24955889).
