Description3-[3-Hydroxy-1-(2-methylpropyl)-6-oxo-1H,4H,6H-pyrazino[2,1-b]quinazolin-4-yl]propanimidic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as quinazolines. Quinazolines are compounds containing a quinazoline moiety, which is made up of two fused six-member aromatic rings, a benzene ring and a pyrimidine ring. 3-[3-hydroxy-1-(2-methylpropyl)-6-oxo-1h,4h-pyrazino[2,1-b]quinazolin-4-yl]propanimidic acid is found in Penicillium aurantiogriseum. 3-[3-Hydroxy-1-(2-methylpropyl)-6-oxo-1H,4H,6H-pyrazino[2,1-b]quinazolin-4-yl]propanimidic acid is a moderately basic compound (based on its pKa).
