| Description | 4'-Hydroxy-5-methoxyflavone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 5-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C5 atom of the flavonoid backbone. 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-5-methoxychromen-4-one is found in Dirca palustris. 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-5-methoxychromen-4-one was first documented in 2009 (PMID: 19731142). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4'-hydroxy-5-methoxyflavone. |
