Resorcinols are compounds containing a resorcinol moiety, which is a benzene ring bearing two hydroxyl groups at positions 1 and 3. 5-[14-(3,5-dihydroxyphenyl)tetradecyl]-2-(3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)benzene-1,3-diol is found in Grevillea glauca. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3-Hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-5-[14-(3,5-dihydroxyphenyl)tetradecyl]-1,3-benzenediol. |
