| Description | 4,5-Bis(acetyloxy)-3-hydroxyoxan-2-yl 1-[5-(acetyloxy)-3-methylpent-3-en-1-yl]-1,4a,5-trimethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2-carboxylate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as colensane and clerodane diterpenoids. These are diterpenoids with a structure based on the clerodane or the colensane skeleton. Clerodanes arise from labdanes by two methyl migrations. 4,5-bis(acetyloxy)-3-hydroxyoxan-2-yl 1-[5-(acetyloxy)-3-methylpent-3-en-1-yl]-1,4a,5-trimethyl-2,3,4,7,8,8a-hexahydronaphthalene-2-carboxylate is found in Baccharis salicifolia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 4,5-bis(acetyloxy)-3-hydroxyoxan-2-yl 1-[5-(acetyloxy)-3-methylpent-3-en-1-yl]-1,4a,5-trimethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2-carboxylate. |
