Description | Shanciol D belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 3'-o-methylated isoflavonoids. These are isoflavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C3' atom of the isoflavonoid backbone. Isoflavonoids are natural products derived from 3-phenylchromen-4-one. (3s,4r)-3-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-3,4,10,11-tetrahydro-2h-1-oxatetraphene-4,8-diol is found in Pleione bulbocodioides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Shanciol D. |
