Indoles are compounds containing an indole moiety, which consists of pyrrole ring fused to benzene to form 2,3-benzopyrrole. 2,5-dihydroxy-3,6-bis(1h-indol-3-yl)cyclohexa-2,5-diene-1,4-dione is found in Chrysosporium merdarium. Didemethylasterriquinone D is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
